CA Students' National Talent Search: Elocution Competition 2025 Announced
The Board of Studies (Operations) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is thrilled to announce the CA Students' National Talent Search – Elocution Competition 2025, a prestigious platform aimed at honing communication and presentation skills among CA students.
Objective
The competition seeks to nurture well-rounded professionals by fostering the development of public speaking, critical thinking, and engagement abilities in aspiring Chartered Accountants.
Competition Structure
The event will be conducted in three stages:

Branch Level (May 17 – June 10, 2025)

Regional Level (June 20 – June 30, 2025)

National Level Grand Finale (dates to be announced).
Eligibility
-
Intermediate or Final course students undergoing articleship training.

Final-year students who completed articleship in 2024 and have not yet become ICAI members.
Rules and Format

Participants will deliver speeches on topics provided by the Board of Studies (Operations).

The competition consists of three rounds at each level, testing presentation skills, depth of subject knowledge, and ability to answer audience questions.

Winners will progress from Branch to Regional and finally to National levels.
Evaluation Criteria
Speeches will be judged on clarity, style, engagement, content depth, adherence to time, and expression precision, with a total score out of 100 marks.
Prizes and Grants

Certificates and prizes will be awarded at all levels.

National-level winners will receive cash prizes of ₹21,000 (1st place) and ₹11,000 (2nd place).

Top winners may be nominated for the SAFA Elocution Contest.
Reimbursements and Logistics
Participants traveling to Regional and National levels will receive travel reimbursements (2 Tier AC or airfare, whichever is less) and daily allowances for boarding and lodging.
