The Paradise Box Office Day 1: Nani Shatters Records with Career-Best Opening

Natural Star Nani has officially recorded the biggest theatrical opening of his career with his latest action-drama, The Paradise. Reuniting with director Srikanth Odela after their 2023 hit Dasara, Nani’s newest release shattered box office expectations on its first day, grossing over ₹74 crore to ₹76 crore worldwide.

Record-Breaking Opening Numbers

According to box office tracker Sacnilk and trade analysts, The Paradise registered a massive ₹34.65 crore net in India across all languages on Day 1.

Surpassing Previous Career Milestones

The Paradise has dramatically outperformed Nani's previous opening-day records:

• vs. HIT: The Third Case (2025): Nearly doubled its worldwide Day 1 total (~₹38 Crore).

• vs. Dasara (2023): Surpassed Dasara’s Day 1 India net of ₹23.20 crore by more than ₹11 crore.

Regional Breakdown

The Telugu-speaking states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana remained the strongest market, contributing ₹31.50 crore gross to the domestic tally. Karnataka followed with ₹4.00 crore, while Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and the rest of India brought in the remainder.
