Actor Vijay Sethupathi has denied the sexual harassment allegations that appeared against him in X. Vijay Sethupathi said that the allegations appear to be the work of someone trying to tarnish his image and that he will not be affected by defamatory campaigns. The actor responded by saying that he has filed a complaint with the cyber cell against the allegations.

The actor suggested that the allegations may be related to the success of his new film 'Thalaivan Thalaivi'. The complaint was filed by an ex-user named Ramya Mohan. The revelation was that Vijay had sexually exploited a girl he knew.
