71st National Film Awards; Shah Rukh Khan and Vikrant Massey named best actors, Rani Mukherjee best actress, Vijayaraghavan and Urvashi named best supporting actor and actress. Malayalam cinema shined at the 2023 National Film Awards. Vijayaraghavan was named best supporting actor for his performance in the film Pookalam and Urvashi was named best supporting actress for her performance in Ulellazhukku. Shah Rukh Khan and Vikrant Massey were named best actor and Rani Mukherjee was named best actress. Hindi film 12th Feyil was named best film. Ulllozukku won the award for best Malayalam film.
