It is suspected that the gold crown placed in the nadi by devotees in Sabarimala is also missing. The gold crown weighing 55.72 pounds, offered by devotees from Tamil Nadu in 2012, is missing. Although there are clear records regarding this in the Devaswom register, information is emerging that the one currently in the Devaswom strong room in Aranmula is a shard.

The discovery was made during the extensive inventory being conducted by the amicus curiae appointed by the High Court in connection with the gold looting in Sabarimala. The amicus curiae will submit a final report to the High Court soon after completing the inspections.

The Travancore Devaswom Board's rules state that valuable items offered by devotees at Sabarimala should not be kept in the Sannidhanam strong room for a long time and should be moved to the main strong room in Aranmula. However, preliminary information indicates that this gold crown offered by devotees was not moved to the strong room in Aranmula. The investigation team suspects that there has been a major irregularity in the incident.
