Kochi Blue Tigers to be led by 'Samson Brothers'

The 'Samson Brothers' will lead the Kochi Blue Tigers team in the new season of the Kerala Cricket League (KCL). The vice-captain of the team captained by his brother Sally Samson is Indian team member and Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson.

Right-arm pacer Sally Samson was part of the Kochi team last season as well. Superstar Sanju was brought to the Kochi Blue Tigers team in the auction held this time. The team acquired Sanju for a record auction price of Rs 26.8 lakhs in the KCL.

Sally and Sanju, who grew up playing together, have previously played for Kerala's Under-16 and Under-19 teams. Sanju led the Under-19 team for a year. But this is the first time that Sanju is playing under Chettan's captaincy.

Sally, who has played for Kerala teams from Under-15 to Under-25, was also part of the Under-16 national South Zone team. Sally, who is a senior auditor in the Aggies office, is also the main bowler in the Aggies team.
