LAC Disengagement Complete, We'll Be Able To Do Patrolling Like In 2020: Jaishankar On China

During a convention organized by NDTV, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar informed that the disengagement with China has been successfully completed at the Line of Actual Control (LAC). Expressing hope for restored peace between the two nations, Jaishankar emphasized the significance of diplomacy in managing the rapid growth of India and China as neighboring rising powers.

He highlighted the agreement on patrolling and the understanding reached, allowing both nations to resume patrolling activities. Jaishankar described the completion of the disengagement process with China as a positive outcome resulting from patient and persistent diplomacy.

Despite underlying tensions, India has maintained favorable trade relations with China and firmly resisted engaging in talks until the border issue is resolved. Jaishankar also stressed the importance of a tranquil border in fostering peaceful ties between New Delhi and Beijing, emphasizing the necessity of maintaining peace and tranquility for a harmonious relationship.

This information was shared by S Jaishankar during the NDTV World Summit.
