'Land grabbing will end with new changes in Waqf Amendment Act'; Prime Minister Narendra Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi lashed out at the Congress's stand on the Waqf Amendment Act. The Prime Minister said that there are lakhs of hectares of land in the name of Waqf and all this should have benefited the poor. The Prime Minister accused the Congress of spreading the vote bank virus. The Prime Minister's remarks were made at the Ambedkar Jayanti celebrations held in Hisar, Haryana.

There are lakhs of hectares of land in the name of Waqf. If the benefits of Waqf properties had been given to the needy, they would have benefited. The land mafia has benefited from these properties. With the new changes in the Waqf Act, land grabbing will also end. The Prime Minister said that looting of the poor will also end.

According to the new Waqf Act, the Waqf Board cannot touch the land or property of any tribal. He clarified that poor Muslims and Pasmanda Muslims will get their rights. This is true social justice.
