Rajasthan Royals openers Yashasvi Jaiswal scored the fastest fifty in the history of Indian Premier League but just failed to break the all-time record of Yuvraj Singh and Chris Gayle.
Yashasvi Jaiswal became the first batter in the IPL to score 20 runs or more in the first over of the innings twice. Jaiswal scored 26 runs off KKR skipper Nitish Rana's first over on Thursday and scored 20 runs against Delhi Capitals earlier in the IPL 2023 season
