Christian Oliver, known for Indian Jones and the Dial of Destiny, dies in plane crash with daughters
Actor Christian Oliver and his daughters has unfortunately passed away after a plane they were travelling in, crashed at the Caribbean on Thursday.
In an unfortunate incident, actor Christian Oliver and his daughters passed away after a plane they were in crashed in the Caribbean on Thursday. A statement from the Royal St Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force said that the incident occurred off the island of Bequia. The small single-engine aircraft that crashed was travelling from the JF Mitchell Airport in Paget Farm to St. Lucia.
According to the People, the three passengers aboard the aircraft were identified by authorities as Christian Oliver, 51 and his two daughters Madita, 10 and Annik, 12. The pilot identified as Robert Sachs who also owned the plane has died.
“Moments after taking off, the aircraft experienced difficulties and plummeted into the ocean,” said the local authorities adding, “Fishermen and divers from Paget Farm went to the scene of the incident in their boats to render assistance. The SVG Coast Guard was informed and quickly travelled to Paget Farm, Bequia, to lead in the rescue efforts.”

Authorities also mentioned that the bodies of the onboard passengers and the pilot were recovered from the aircraft and waters by the SVG Coast Guard and the victims were later pronounced dead. According to multiple outlets, Hollywood actor Christian Oliver also went by the name Christian Klesper and his credits included the films The Babu-Sitters Club, The Good German, Speed Racer and Valkyrie.
The RSVGPF added in its statement that the bodies of the victims were taken to a mortuary where post-mortem examinations will determine the cause of death.
