Firing Outside Salman Khan's House: Arrested Shooters Repeatedly Changed Modes of Transport while Fleeing to Kachchh

Mumbai crime branch sources told that the two men held for opening fire outside Bollywood star Salman Khan’s residence kept changing their modes of transport while on the run either because of being instructed by their handlers, or due to being unfamiliar with the city.

It could also be, they said, that the duo wanted to distract the investigating agencies while escaping to Gujarat’s Kachchh district.

According to the sources, after opening fire at Salman Khan’s Bandra residence, the two men left their motorcycle near Mount Mary Church. They took an autorickshaw and reached Bandra railway station in 8 minutes.

They then boarded a slow local train headed towards Borivli but disembarked shortly after at the Santacruz railway station.

They then walked towards the Western Express Highway where they changed their t-shirts.

The men then took an autorickshaw towards Dahisar and later boarded a private car on the Mumbai-Gujarat highway, leaving for Surat.

Accused allegedly threw their pistol in a waterbody. They went to Surat railway station but could not find any train for Bhuj.

They then took a state transport bus from Surat and went to Ahmedabad. From there, they took another state transport bus to reach Kachchh district, where they hid in the popular Matanomadh temple before being caught.
