Assembly Election 2024: Voting Begins Across Arunachal Pradesh And Sikkim | Latest Updates
Voting has begun for Assembly elections in Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim on Friday. Polling began at 7:00 am and will end at 6:00 pm, according to the Election Commission of India. The closure of polling time might differ constituency-wise.
People of 60 Assembly seats in Arunachal and 32 Assembly seats in Sikkim will cast their votes the same day as voters of 102 Parliamentary constituencies across 21 states will exercise their polling rights in the first phase of the Lok Sabha election which has also begun today.
While Arunachal will be voting for two Lok Sabha seats, Sikkim will poll for its lone parliamentary seat in the first phase of Lok Sabha elections today.
