Air India and IndiGo cancel flights to 7 cities due to Pak drone presence

Air India and IndiGo cancel flights to border cities. Flights to airports in areas where Pakistani drones were spotted on Monday night were suspended. IndiGo and Air India said that flights to and from Srinagar, Jammu, Amritsar, Chandigarh and three other border cities have been cancelled for today.
Air India said that flights to and from Jammu, Leh, Jodhpur, Amritsar, Bhuj, Jamnagar, Chandigarh and Rajkot have been cancelled. IndiGo also cancelled flights to and from Jammu, Amritsar, Chandigarh, Leh, Srinagar and Rajkot.
IndiGo said that the action was taken keeping in mind the safety of passengers. Air India said that it is monitoring the situation and will provide updates on services to passengers. The situation is calm, including in Samba, where the drone was spotted. Meanwhile, there was an agreement in the talks between the Director Generals of the Indian and Pakistani armies to continue the ceasefire. The report also states that an agreement has been reached to reduce the number of troops in the border areas.
The army said that the ceasefire between the two countries is being observed. The army said that surveillance drones came yesterday, including in Jammu, and no other incidents were reported.
