England put on a spectacular performance in the second T20I against South Africa. Jos Buttler and Phil Salt's devastating knock took the British team past 300 for the first time in T20Is. England won the match by 146 runs.
Openers Phil Salt and Jos Buttler put on 126 runs for the first wicket in just 7.5 overs. Buttler returned with 83 runs from 30 balls, including eight fours and seven sixes. England, who attacked from the first over, reached three figures in the powerplay itself.
Phil Salt scored 141 runs from 60 balls, including 15 fours and eight sixes. Jacob Bethel also scored two fours and two sixes in 14 balls, and Harry Brook scored 41 runs from 21 balls, including five fours and a six.
South African bowler Kagiso Rabada was bowled out. He conceded 70 runs in four overs. Marco Janssen took 60 runs while Lissad Williamson conceded 62 runs. Bjorn Fortune also took two wickets and got 52 runs.
