An Israeli tourist and a homestay owner were gang-raped in Bengaluru. The incident took place on Thursday night. The Israeli tourist and the homestay owner were gang-raped in Koppal, 350 km from Bengaluru. The gang of three committed this brutal act after pushing their companions into a canal.

The duo had come to observe the stars near a canal in Koppal at 11.30 pm. Daniel from America, Pankaj from Maharashtra, and Bibash from Odisha were also with them. The three-member gang raped the Israeli woman and the homestay owner by pushing them into the Yallam canal. Bibaash has not been found in the canal yet. Daniel and Pankaj swam away.

The three-member gang, who first asked where they could get petrol, later demanded money from the tourists. When they refused to pay, they attacked and raped the tourists. They later escaped on their bikes. Meanwhile, Koppal Police Superintendent Ram El Arasiddi said that the accused have been identified and two separate teams are investigating the case.

The police said that the women were raped and beaten. Meanwhile, the police said that the Israeli woman and the homestay owner are recovering in the hospital and will be shifted to a private hospital if necessary. Based on the complaints of the victims, the police have registered a case of gang rape and robbery.
