KCBC with warning on Munambam issue
KCBC with warning on Munambam issue. KCBC president Cardinal Baselios Mar Clemis Katholika Bava said that if there is no solution to the problem, the method and place of the strike will change. The Chief Minister's all-party meeting is being looked forward to. There are two aspects before and after the election. He asked whether political parties should continue to exist here even after the election. The Cardinal was speaking in solidarity with the Munamba struggle.
A mature indecisive approach while communal polarization is taking place on many issues adds to the suffering of these people. What decision was taken in the sufferings of the people? What decision is going to be made about the people living on this cape? These people should get a mature and lasting protection. There is hope that the opinion that this should be resolved is emerging from many quarters. Why is the government hesitant to stand with the common people here? Elections come and go. We can understand the silence at that time. But don't you want to stay here even after the elections? The Catholic Church of Kerala will be with them till the end - said Cardinal Basilios Mar Clemis Katholika Bava.
Muvattupuzha Diocese Archbishop and KCBC Vigilance Committee Convenor Yohannan Mar Theodesias, Alappuzha Diocese Archbishop James Ana Parampil and others reached Munambam Samaravedi. Priests of Alappuzha Diocese are observing Munambath fast today.
