Vigilance investigation against M R Ajit Kumar; DGP Yogesh Gupta has supervisory charge

Thiruvananthapuram Special Investigation 1 team is in charge of vigilance investigation against law and order ADGP MR Ajith Kumar. SP John Kutty is conducting the investigation. Vigilance DGP Yogesh Gupta is in charge of supervision.

Yogesh Gupta will handle matters including direct questioning of MR Ajith Kumar. The same team will also investigate the vigilance investigation against SP Sujith Das. An investigation of an official nature will begin soon.

Meanwhile, it is reported that conducting vigilance against Ajith Kumar is only a preliminary investigation. No case will be filed against the officer. The report is to be submitted after six months.The report is to be submitted after six months of investigation. It is now being examined whether a case should be filed against the allegations. An inquiry may be recommended if the allegations are found to be substantiated.
