Woman Stripped and Beaten at Nightclub; Police Register Case

Allegations have surfaced that a woman was stripped and assaulted at a nightclub in Khanapara, Guwahati, on Thursday night. Reports indicate that the club's bouncers were involved in the incident. Visuals of the assault are circulating widely on social media.
The incident reportedly took place at 'Locals Cafe and Lounge' in Khanapara. It is alleged that the woman was pushed down inside the club, stripped of her clothes, and beaten. Reports suggest that both male and female bouncers participated in the assault.
In one video circulating on social media, two women are seen kicking the victim while she lies unclothed on the floor; several men are visible nearby. Another video shows a woman attempting to help the victim up when a car arrives, obscuring the view.

The identity of the victim has not yet been revealed. There are also reports that she was subsequently taken from the club's fourth floor to an area believed to be the parking lot.

The circumstances leading to the incident remain unclear, as does what transpired inside the club prior to the assault. When journalists arrived at the scene, the nightclub was closed, and the lights were switched off. No one from the club management has come forward to comment on the incident. The police have registered a case regarding the matter; however, it is unclear whether anyone from the club management has been questioned so far. The police investigation into the incident is ongoing.
