Yes Bank fraud case; Lookout notice for Anil Ambani

Reports have emerged that the Enforcement Directorate has issued a lookout notice against Reliance Group Chairman Anil Ambani. It is reported that the action is in the Rs 3000 crore loan fraud case related to Yes Bank. The ED had conducted raids in this regard in the past few days.
There were also reports that several documents and electronic devices were recovered from various places during the ED inspection. The ED has asked Anil Ambani to appear on August 5. The ED inspection began on July 24 in the money laundering case.
The inspection is being conducted at 35 locations in Mumbai related to Anil Ambani. This includes 50 companies and officials related to Anil Ambani group companies. This was followed by the ED issuing a lookout notice. Lookout circulars are usually used to prevent individuals from leaving the country.
