BSF kills 7 Jaish terrorists in Samba infiltration attempt with support of Pakistan Rangers; Search underway for escapees

Pakistan is again attacking with terrorists despite shelling along the border. Security forces, with the support of Pakistan Rangers, killed 7 Jaish terrorists who tried to infiltrate into Samba district of Jammu, Srinagar. The security forces have intensified the search for 5 of them who escaped.
The BSF said that the infiltration attempt took place along the International Border at around 11 pm on Thursday. The infiltration attempt took place after India foiled Pakistan's attempt to attack military posts in Jammu, Pathankot and Udhampur. It is learnt that around 12 people were in the infiltration group and the remaining five escaped. A search has been intensified to trace them.
The security forces said that the Pakistan Rangers helped the terrorists infiltrate by firing from the Dhandhar post. The BSF also said that the surveillance grid detected the group of terrorists while they were infiltrating the Samba sector on the night of May 8 and 9. The terrorists were later killed.
