'Mammootty called me asking me to withdraw the case, when I said no, he backed out of the film he had committed to': Sandra Thomas reveals

Sandra Thomas has revealed that megastar Mammootty called me asking me to withdraw the case he filed after the Producers' Association rejected his nomination in the elections. In an interview with One India Malayalam, Sandra Thomas said that he backed out of the film he had committed to when I said he was not ready for it. 'Mammootty called me and spoke to me for about three and a half hours. He said that he should not proceed with the case and that it would affect your future. However, if a similar situation happened to his daughter, I asked him if he would take the same stand,' Sandra says.
She also asked if Mammootty would take a stand that said, 'Don't react, don't proceed with the case, it will affect your future, you can't make a film, the producers won't allow the film to be released in theaters, so you should keep quiet.' In response to this question, Sandra Thomas added that Mammootty said, ‘Now it’s Sandra’s choice, I don’t say anything inside it, do as she pleases.’
Sandra Thomas also said that Mammootty backed out of a project he had promised her after this incident. ‘I will be here, if they are trying to wipe me out of here, I have told him that I will be here,’ Sandra Thomas clarified.
The Producers Association rejected the nomination of producer Sandra Thomas to contest for the post of president of the Kerala Film Producers Association the other day. Following this, Sandra approached the court. Sandra approached the court questioning the rejection of it despite her eligibility to contest for the post of president. Mammootty called Sandra after he informed her that he would move legally.
