Plus Two student arrested for threatening classmate with gun, taking classmate home and raping her

A Plus Two student has been arrested for bringing his classmate home and raping him. The incident took place in Alappuzha. Sreeshankar (18), a native of A.N. Puram, was arrested. He brought his 16-year-old classmate home asking him to help him write an assignment. Sreeshankar was arrested in the rape case within three days of turning 18.

The incident took place the previous day. Yesterday, after the locals informed him about the incident, the police reached the spot and took the accused into custody.

A case had been registered against him for threatening and beating his friend with an air gun months ago. At that time, the police had given him a warning and released him after he was a minor.
