US gives China a tariff advantage, freezes additional tariffs on Chinese products for 90 days
US President Donald Trump has given China a tariff advantage. President Trump has frozen additional import tariffs on Chinese products for 90 days. The decision to impose a 145 percent tariff on China from today has been extended until November.
A 30 percent tariff has been imposed on China. It has also been decided that China will impose a 10 percent tariff on American products. Trump said that negotiations with China are in good shape and a trade deal with China is very close.
