'Principal's dung experiment to reduce classroom heat', instead of a substitute; Student Union smears dung in Principal's office room

Recently, in Delhi, the principal smeared dung on the walls of a college classroom in the name of reducing the heat. A video of Principal Pratyush Vatsala smearing dung on the walls of the classroom had also surfaced the other day. The principal's action was described as a traditional way to overcome the heat. But now, the student union office bearers have smeared dung on the same principal's office. The smearing was done under the leadership of student union president Ronak Khatri. The smearing was done on the wall of the principal's office room of Lakshmibai College under Delhi University.
After the video of the principal smearing dung in the classroom came out, many people criticized the action. The principal spread cow dung in the old C block of Lakshmibai College. The teacher explained that the purpose of spreading cow dung was to reduce the heat in the hot summer. The action was based on the discovery of a research student that spreading cow dung would reduce the heat.
The principal had said that there was also an aim to make the school environment friendly and that he would be able to share the details of the research after a week. The principal said about the action that the classroom would soon be seen in a new form and that he was trying to make the teaching experience here beautiful.
Students' Union President Ronak Khatri said that the principal had not consulted the students about spreading cow dung in the classroom. The principal should have fulfilled the basic rights of the students. Instead of providing air conditioning in the classrooms to overcome the heat, they used to apply cow dung. Ronak Khatri said that when they reached the classroom, there was a strong smell of cow dung and no classes were being held. Ronak Khatri added that the college lacks basic facilities including drinking water and that is when the principal talks about the big research using cow dung and that the basic needs of the students should be met first.
